Secondary school student exchange program
German courses

Considering the current pandemic, exchanges of secondary students are suspended for the year 2021-2022. However, Échanges azimut are currently working to develop virtual exchanges for secondary students. Informations will be available in winter 2021.

To ensure that all participants have the required language skills to interact and live in Germany, language classes are mandatory. They are offered in partnership with German Language Schools Quebec and the Goethe Institut.

Mandatory course registration

Students enrolled in the exchange in Germany will automatically be enrolled in a mandatory German course. The Échange azimut team will handle student registration. The language schools will communicate with them in the first week of April to send them all the information concerning the first course. The fees for the course are payable by the student and their parents.

The two associated schools are the Goethe-Institut Montreal and German Language Schools Quebec.

Registration to this course does not ensure a pairing with a twin. Our team shall inform students of the pairing results as soon as possible.

German students who applied to the program have on average taken three years of French in order to be eligible to the program.
